Welcome to Front Door Notary. By using our website or booking our mobile notary services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. General Information

Front Door Notary provides mobile notary services throughout Kentucky.
Our services include document notarization, loan signing assistance, and related verification of identity in accordance with Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS) Chapter 423.

We operate as an independent mobile notary and are not attorneys. We cannot provide legal advice, interpret documents, or prepare legal forms.

2. Service Area

We are based in Crittenden, Kentucky, and provide mobile notary services statewide.
Travel fees are calculated based on the distance from Crittenden, KY, and will be disclosed before any appointment is confirmed.

3. Fees and Payments

  • Fees are based on the number of notarizations, travel distance, and appointment time.

  • Full pricing details are available on our Pricing page.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made.

  • Accepted forms of payment include cash, credit/debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be booked through our online form or by phone/text.

  • We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • If cancellation occurs after travel has begun, a travel fee may still apply.

  • After-hours and weekend services may include an additional convenience fee.

5. Identification Requirements

Per Kentucky law, all signers must:

  • Appear in person before the notary,

  • Present a valid government-issued photo ID, and

  • Be able to communicate directly with the notary in English (or through a qualified interpreter).

If the signer does not meet these requirements, the notary must decline to complete the notarization.

6. Limitations of Service

Front Door Notary:

  • Does not provide legal advice or document preparation.

  • Is not responsible for the content or legality of the documents being notarized.

  • Will refuse any notarization that appears incomplete, fraudulent, or coerced.

7. Privacy and Security

Your personal information is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share any client data. All information collected is used solely to provide notary and scheduling services.

8. Liability

Front Door Notary exercises reasonable care in providing notarial services.
However, we are not liable for damages resulting from:

  • Errors or omissions in documents prepared by third parties,

  • Misrepresentation by a signer or witness, or

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., travel or connectivity issues).

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Any disputes arising from services rendered shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Grant County, Kentucky.
